Careers: Quality Assurance Lead Responsible for overall quality of the product. Own all phases of quality assurance from functional and design reviews, test plan development, test execution, and QA processes to ensure high product quality. Work with and across the team of testers and developers, both onshore and offshore, to ensure exceptional product quality.
Key objectives and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead the QA function for the Skytap Virtual Lab service to deliver a high quality product Develop test methodologies and create test suites, working with development team Lead and oversee the work of a team of testers Develop and execute tests – automated and manual; white-box and black-box; functional and performance Drive bug triage and resolution processes with development and customer support teams Review functional specifications and design specifications working with development team Develop and maintain test infrastructure and test frameworks Create and streamline processes to facilitate timely delivery of a high quality product
Required background & skills:
BS in Computer Science or equivalent 5+ years experience in verification and validation of complex software products 2+ years experience in managing a testing team, in operating and improving QA processes Hands-on experience in reviewing functional and design specifications and developing testing plans Hands-on experience in developing and executing test scripts in Python/Ruby/Perl/Shell Hands-on experience with test automation and process tools such as Selenium, JMeter, Trac Self-directed, effective communication, great teamwork
