SmartShare makes it easy to securely publish and share your Skytap Cloud virtual data center environments so you can collaborate with team members, partners, and customers. You can create projects to share resources across teams of Skytap Cloud users with configurable, multi-level access permissions.

Built-in, one-button web publishing enables you to generate a single URL to share one virtual machine or an entire virtual data center with customers, partners, or contractors—even if they don’t have a Skytap Cloud user account. With just a few mouse clicks, you are able to set granular access policies for each virtual machine, as well as manage a range of security options and access permissions like requiring a password to connect, or limiting the access to specific times of the day. When a customer clicks on the published link, they immediately connect using our SmartClient, Java-based browser applet for fast and secure remote access.
