Former Stratavia CEO and HP Executive to Lead Skytap Through Next Phase

Today we are proud to announce that Thor Culverhouse has been appointed CEO of Skytap.

Thor previously served as President and CEO of Stratavia, a leading provider of data center automation software solutions, which was acquired by HP in August 2010. Thor replaces outgoing CEO, Scott Roza, who led Skytap through five years of consecutive growth, while expanding the company’s customer roster to over 250 enterprises. Scott will continue to serve on Skytap’s board of directors.

“Skytap has a tremendous market opportunity in enterprise cloud computing and its recent milestones demonstrate that the company has the right combination of technology and talent to accelerate its growth,” said Thor Culverhouse. “The company’s vision for empowering development and test teams through intuitive cloud services directly addresses some of today’s biggest challenges in building and deploying new software. I look forward to working with the Skytap team to build upon the company’s track record of success and drive greater adoption of its hybrid cloud solution.”
