SharePoint Conference 2012 Kicks Off in Las Vegas

The 2012 SharePoint Conference kicked off today and will continue through November 15 in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.

Conference-goers will gain valuable knowledge to increase productivity, learn how to better use SharePoint 2010, and become familiar with the latest features and functionality from the new SharePoint.

Day 1: Registration, Pre-Conference Training, Certification Testing, Welcome Reception

Sunday, November 11 6pm to 9pm (PT) The show officially opens with a sold out expo floor, with more than 200 partners exhibiting. You can meet new faces, see the latest technology, and get your questions answered. The Skytap team will be demonstrating our Skytap Cloud solution at booth 1056, so be sure to stop by. We also have a new SharePoint white paper.

Day 2: Keynote, Labs, Certification Testing, Expo

Monday, November 12 7am to 6pm (PT) Exhibit Hall opens at 10:30am. Even if you’re not going to be at the SharePoint Conference, you can still catch some of the action. The Opening Keynote will be broadcast LIVE as it happens on the SharePoint Conference 2012 website. The Keynote kicks off at 8:30 am (PT).

Day 3: Certification Testing, Labs, Breakout Sessions, Expo

Tuesday, November 13 7am to 8:15pm (PT) Exhibit Hall opens at 11:30am. This year, levels have been replaced by session types to help attendees better navigate and choose which types of learning they prefer. The range of session types include How tos, Hands-on Labs, Deep Dives, and more.

Day 4: Certification Testing, Labs, Breakout Sessions, Expo, Ask the Experts

Wednesday, November 14 7am to 5pm (PT) Exhibit Hall opens at 10:15am. The Ask the Experts sessions are a chance to meet face-to-face with the foremost experts in the SharePoint field. Ask them the questions that have you stumped and get the answers you need. Take this opportunity to stay on top of your game and dive into the finer points of Microsoft’s products and services led by Microsoft Certified Masters, MVPs, and the engineers that built the product.

Day 5: Certification Testing, Labs, Breakout Sessions, Expo, Post-Conference Trainings

Thursday, November 15 7am to 5pm (PT) Exhibit Hall opens at 10:15am. It’s not over til it’s over. The conference offers Post-Conference Trainings with a rich offering of subjects, including Start Building Apps for Office, Ignite Your Strategy with Visio Services, Microsoft Business Intelligence, and more.
