We recently wrapped up two great day-and-a-half sessions of the Skytap Customer Advisory Board (or “Skytap CAB”) here by the waterfront in lovely Seattle. One session specifically for Dev/Test solution customers and another for Training/Demo customers, each of which have unique use cases and concerns.

Collaboration with customers is a huge part of Skytap’s culture, so we invite a small group of our leading users to come out to these special events every year. While the meeting is organized by our Product Management team, we don’t just talk about our features and upcoming plans here. The collaboration among customers on the challenges they are overcoming teaches them, and us, more about how Skytap environments can be leveraged than any presentation we could devise.

We came away from these sessions with a great deal to talk about — both what is working well and resonating with our customers, and where we can do better. But there’s another dimension of value beyond our environment solutions in exploring the best practices for applying them. Thanks to everyone who attended and shared, and we hope it was equally as valuable to our customers.
