Skytap is pleased to announce the opening of our newest data center in Singapore. This allows Skytap to serve our customers based in APAC as well as those customers with a presence in the region.
It has been a busy year at Skytap in terms of expansion. In addition to our new US-East data center that opened in February, Skytap announced support for Amazon Web Services infrastructure in November, and now with a facility in APAC, Skytap has established a truly global presence.
After considering several possible locations in APAC, Singapore quickly became the obvious choice. Not only does Singapore host a wide variety of data center operators they also provide some of the best high-speed network connectivity in APAC. Singapore is quickly becoming one of the most important data hubs in Asia—connecting both North America and Europe.
Skytap customers in Australia, Hong Kong, Mainland China, Hong Kong, and of course, Singapore are all reporting excellent network performance.
