Skytap Appoints Vice President Of Worldwide Sales And Field Operations

SEATTLE, WASH. – April 26, 2010 – Skytap Inc., the leading provider of self-service cloud automation solutions, today announced that Matt Bell has been appointed vice president of worldwide sales and field operations. Matt is responsible for Skytap’s overall sales strategy and field engagement activities which include building and strengthening customer and partner relationships.

Matt is a seasoned sales executive with over 15 years of experience in the industry. Prior to Skytap, Matt was vice president of worldwide sales and business development at Azaleos, a provider of managed services for Microsoft Exchange, where he grew sales from $3 million to $17 million over two years. Before Azaleos, Matt was vice president of sales and business development at SourceLabs, a venture funded startup, and general manager of enterprise sales at RealNetworks where he ran North America sales and the OEM business globally. Matt also spent five years at Plumtree Software, now part of Oracle, where he ran sales in the Western United States and helped grow revenue from $3 million to $100 million. Matt and his team significantly contributed to Plumtree’s growth, which led to its successful initial public offering.
