Skytap to Demo Development and Test of SpringSource Applications Using a Private Cloud at VMworld

San Francisco, Calif. – August 31, 2009 – Skytap, Inc., the leading provider of cloud-based IT labs, today announced it will demonstrate collaborative development of SpringSource applications across internal and external clouds at VMworld 2009 in San Francisco.

WHAT:

Skytap will demonstrate development of SpringSource applications, including the ability to:

  • Deploy a SpringSource application from a developer machine to the Skytap cloud
  • Run a SpringSource application that requires secure, bi-directional connectivity between Skytap and an internal cloud (i.e. private cloud)
  • Test the SpringSource application with a distributed development team and share IT environments over the Web to resolve software defects
