Skytap CTO Brad Schick in Two IBM InterConnect Sessions
Obviously, we’re a little biased, but our own Brad Schick will be returning to the stage at IBM InterConnect this year in two exciting sessions on Wednesday, March 22nd. Brad will be joined by IBM’s Erik Anderson, and NBCUniversal’s John Comas to present, “The How and Why of Application Modernization and Delivery.” Brad, Erik, and John will demonstrate how “leveraging methodologies like DevOps and agile alongside cloud-native services and containerization, enables traditional applications to be more easily modernized without risking everything that depends on them.”
Immediately following this session, Brad will be joined by representatives from IBM, Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, and KPN for a panel discussion on “Managing the Hybridity of Hybrid Cloud.” Learn the “implications of multi-speed IT and dealing with legacy, cloud-enabled, and cloud-ready workloads” and bring your own questions and unique scenarios to this open discussion with the audience.

We recently made a major announcement—the upcoming availability of AIX On-Demand Instances. For the first time ever, enterprises can rapidly migrate, develop, and deploy AIX workloads running on Power Systems side-by-side with Linux and Windows workloads running on x86 architecture.
