Skytap Poised for Rapid Expansion in 2015, Hires Vice President of Talent

Seattle, WA – February 10, 2015 – Skytap Inc., the leading provider of on-demand Environments as a Service (EaaS), today appointed Jill Domanico as vice president of talent. In her role, Jill is responsible for nurturing and growing Skytap’s innovative and collaborative culture, and expanding the company’s world-class team through recruitment, employee engagement, retention, connection, and communication.

Over the next year, Skytap plans to expand from 115 to 175 employees, with the largest number of new hires slated for engineering. Jill’s appointment comes on the heels of Skytap’s $35 million Series D funding announcement, and record growth in 2014.

“I’m eager to expose Skytap as the best kept secret for engineering talent in Seattle,” said Jill Domanico, vice president of talent for Skytap. “Skytap is unique in offering the opportunity to work on a product for engineers by engineers that’s capable of solving large scale and complex enterprise problems.”

Jill brings a wealth of experience to Skytap having spent over 20 years in a variety of HR leadership and consulting roles, including recruiting, HR administration, organizational design, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Jill has worked with companies at different stages of growth, from start-ups such as Visio and iStart Ventures, to market leaders including Microsoft and Google. Jill began her high-tech career with Visio Corporation, leading the company’s recruiting and HR generalist functions through the company’s acquisition by Microsoft in 2000. She then transitioned into various roles within Microsoft HR, where she led the MS HR M&A team, working on over 80 deals in her career, including the Microsoft acquisition of Skype.
